COVID -19

Adarsh Shiksha Samiti

As the COVID-19 crisis continues to loom over us, The Government of India has taken a strict combat measure by directing a compulsory 21-day lockdown of the entire nation. Later on, we also selflessly served the infected patients and needy families during the 2nd and 3rd waves of the Covid 19 outbreak. At this great hour of need, Adarsh Org in close coordination with State Governments & District Administration stepped in to provide relief by providing food to thousands of people across the country.

By adhering to all safety and hygiene measures, Adarsh had begun its relief service by providing meal or packed grocery kits to the marginalized and low-income segment of the society comprising daily wage workers, migrant labourers, construction site workers, and needy people at old age homes and night shelters.

The relief work started with the identification of people who required food and monetary aid on an urgent basis. It was emphasised to identify the most marginalised groups like single women, widows, disabled persons, and pregnant women from the field areas. We were able to provide dry rations to almost 600 families. Adarsh Org. facilitated the provision of ration and financial aid by filling over 150 forms across the communities.

Under the current situation of covid19 and with the helping hand of the Jiv Daya Foundation, Adarsh org distributed 600 dry ration kits door-to-door to the poor and distributed them to 600  families. This distribution was done door to door in their houses under the supervision of Mr. Shashi Bhushan Sen(CEO of Adarsh Ngo ), and with the cooperating hand of the sarpanch, ward panch, and social workers of four Gram panchayats. The Distribution was done at 30 villages of Salumber, Sarada, Semari, Lasadiya, and Jallara blocks in the Udaipur District of Rajasthan in India.
